Opportunities to participate in sports

We have a great range of sport and leisure activities for all abilities. Activities are open to all students and are usually free of charge. This is a great way to have fun, socialise with your friends and get fit at the same time.The College is also affiliated to British Colleges Sport, enabling students to enter regional and national competitions against other colleges. With our  comprehensive activity programme, students can try new things in a safe and secure environment whatever their level, experience or ability. Past activities have included;

We also run a successful Sports Leadership Academy in Redditch. The leaders volunteer in a range of events both locally and internationally. Our students are involved with running a wide range of school sports partnership activities and working with various councils to support disability sports in our area.

Opportunities to volunteer

At Heart of Worcestershire College you will have lots of great opportunities to volunteer within your local community and local sports events. Volunteering is great for boosting your employability prospects or making your application to university more attractive.
