You will develop the skills needed to progress into any aspect of science and management. The modules are constructed to challenge you and support your understanding of the values, theories and policies underpinning biology. This programme will also provide specialist options relevant to the vocation and profession in which you are working in.
This course is ideal for those who are currently working in, or are interested in working in biology and is delivered through a mixture of workshops, lectures and project-based assignments. You will study, genetics, ecology, microbiology, lab techniques, and cellular biology.
A combination of academic qualifications, experience and motivation will be required to demonstrate the potential to complete the programme successfully. Applicants must have Merit, Merit, Pass at BTEC Level 3 in Applied Science or equivalent. A-level applicants must have 64 UCAS Points with at least one science subject studied. All applicants will be invited to interview.
