Public Services

Do you have what it takes to join the uniformed services? Our range of public services courses in Redditch and Worcester focuses on helping students understand and develop the skills required to enter either the military services; army, RAF or royal navy, the prison service, police, fire or ambulance service, or progress to higher education. Students will learn through academic classroom based lessons, practical activities such as sports, role-plays and presentations and through outdoor activity residentials (hiking, camping and abseiling). The ability to carry out independent research, write/type up assignments in their own time, and meeting deadlines are crucial qualities for every student.

I chose to come to the college as I was struggling at sixth form when I realised the A-level pathway wasn’t for me as I really want to pursue a career in the Royal Marines, thankfully the College accepted my application after the course had begun and it’s really helped me to progress my views and knowledge on the public services.
