Thanks to an innovative partnership with Bromsgrove Arts Centre Trust and Bromsgrove District Council, Heart of Worcestershire College is proud to deliver its Expressive Arts courses at the Artrix, one of Worcestershire’s premier arts venues. The centre provides a cultural hub for the community and ensures that students studying Performing Arts, Theatre Production and Music enjoy a professional environment that must be the envy of students across the country. The facility includes a 300-seat auditorium, a spacious dance studio, teaching rooms and a visually stunning foyer/gallery.
Spires Theatre, Worcester
Our Performing Arts department in Worcester boasts a professionally equipped theatre in St. Andrews' building with a state-of-the-art computerised lighting system, sound systems and multiple stage and seating positioning. The theatre also includes:

Fat frog lighting desk including moving gobo lights and two programme MAC 250 lights.
In addition, there are three other rehearsal spaces including a mirrored dance studio with a 42" plasma TV and state-of-the-art sound system.
Music and Recording Studios
Our Music department boasts industry standard equipment alongside purposely designed rooms including a performance area, practice rooms, recording studios and study areas, as well as an audio production suite.
As well as the large study centre that we share with the rest of the General Education department, our specialised Music & Performing Arts study centre includes books, specialised computers and three small, but well equipped practice rooms.
