If the answer is yes, then our Access to Higher Education Diploma (Business and Law) could be the perfect route for you. You will learn about law, economics, business management and business organisation. Our Access to Higher Education course will give you the essential knowledge needed to succeed in higher education and progress your future career including essay writing skills and IT skills.

Entry requirements

We welcome applications from any adult who wishes to move into higher education, regardless of age. You must have either GCSE English Language/English or GCSE maths at C grade or above. If you do not have these you will be asked to complete diagnostic tests lasting up to 2 hours to enable us to consider your suitability for our Access to Higher Education (Foundation) course which focuses precisely on the development of maths, English, IT and study skills to enable you to successfully complete an access course. You will also be asked to attend an interview where you will have the opportunity to discuss your options and decide on the most suitable course. How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed on a continuous basis throughout the course through essays, reports, exams and presentations. You will have the opportunity to experience a formal examination setting to help prepare you for exams in higher education.

You can progress onto a broad range of academic and vocational higher education courses at a Foundation Degree, HND or BA (Hons) level.
